Kenroku-en Garden in Kanazawa is one of the big three gardens of Japan. I started
walking at the lowest point of the garden. After climbing up, to my
surprise I arrive at Misty Pond.

Next to Kenroku-en there is Kanazawa-jo (Kanazawa Castle).
It is brand new, completed just a few years ago.

The interior was almost empty. The visitors are obliged
to take off their shoes, carry them in a plastic bag and walk
in slippers.

To see how Japanese town looked a hundred or
more years ago, I went to Higashi district in Kanazawa.

Some of the former tea houses are for public
as museums.

Japanese cuisine is quite adventurous (at least for me.)
I managed to swallow things I had thought I would
never eat.
